HOUSTON, TX. July 14, 2026. Acumen, an AI conversation platform built for revenue teams, today opened its public beta at tryacumen.ai. The platform reads visitor intent on every message, scores each lead from 0 to 100 in real time, and delivers a complete, sales-ready record to the CRM, including intent tier, topics discussed, sentiment, an AI-written summary, and the full transcript.
The launch arrives at an inflection point for the website chat market. Drift, long the category leader in B2B conversational marketing, was sunset by Salesloft in March 2026, and Intercom has entered an agreement to be acquired by Salesforce. Thousands of mid-market companies are being forced to re-select their chat platform this year.
Chatbots answer questions. They don’t close business. The visitor who is ready to buy gets the same canned link as the one who is just browsing, and sales teams learn to ignore the whole pile. Acumen was built to tell them apart, and to prove it on every conversation.
Two capabilities distinguish the beta release:
Journey-based lead scoring
Acumen begins reading intent before a chat ever starts. As a visitor moves through a site, evaluative behavior builds their score, so a visitor who has compared plans and read integration pages opens the chat window already scored as engaged rather than starting cold. By the time a conversation begins, the assistant has context.
Voice-first conversations
Visitors can speak with Acumen naturally or switch to text at any time. Voice-first chat is available to all founding cohort members during the beta.
Acumen installs with a single script in about 10 minutes and runs alongside an existing chat tool, allowing teams to pilot it on a single page or traffic source before migrating. Qualified leads sync natively to HubSpot, Salesforce, and GoHighLevel, or to any system via webhook.
The company is taking a deliberately limited approach to its launch. The beta is application-based, and Acumen is selecting 10 to 20 founding companies. The platform is free during the beta period, and founding members lock in their pricing permanently. The company’s website currently displays no customer logos or case studies by design.
Every claim on our site is something a visitor can verify themselves in the product, starting with the fact that Acumen is scoring their visit while they read it. The first case studies we publish will be named, measured, and earned with this founding cohort.
Applications are open at tryacumen.ai and are reviewed personally by the founder.
