How do I install Acumen on my Shopify store?
Install the app from the Shopify App Store, then turn on the Acumen app embed in your theme editor under App embeds. The widget appears on your storefront with no code and no theme changes. It works on Online Store 2.0 and vintage themes.
Does Acumen read my Shopify customer or order data?
No. Acumen requests no access to your Shopify customers or orders. It answers from your published store pages and from what a visitor tells it in the chat, and nothing else. That means installation asks for no protected customer data.
Where does the AI get its answers?
From your own storefront content: product pages, policies, FAQs, and anything else you publish. When it does not know something, it routes the shopper to a person instead of guessing.
Can shoppers use voice, or only text?
Both. Every visitor can type or speak, and the agent replies in kind, in the shopper’s own language. The interface chrome ships in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
What happens to a lead after a conversation?
